The Story of Gilligan McGrath
Ireland,1782
“Me and my brothers truly were blessed, or cursed. It was difficult to tell at times.”
The death of his father left Gilly with more than just the pain and heartache of organising his funeral. It also left Kael, the youngest of his three enchanted brothers, with a baneful illness. Thrust into the parental role of looking after his younger brothers, Gilly has no choice but to take them back to their hometown of Lanolak, to seek refuge and put their father to rest. But as he begins to orchestrate their father’s funeral, he discovers that Kael’s illness is far more than just coughs and sneezes. His ailment is spreading through the streets and bringing with it a whole host of chilling side-effects. Only then does Gilly realise that it's not an illness at all. His brother has been cursed, and he must do everything in his power to save him.
