Thor's wife is dead, stabbed by Loki. There is only one hope to save her. He must travel to Avalon, the enchanted isle, where in the Garden of Eden lies the Ygddrassil or the Tree of Life. There he may find oil from the Tree of Mercy, but his father, Odin claims this is also where he lost his eye. Perils await him as he challenges the Fates for his father's eye and the chance to save his wife.
