Book Description-
Twenty-five years ago, one terrible summer changed the Calloway family forever. Now, after years away, Lena returns to Cliffside Island following her mother's death, only to face her estranged sister Meg—and the painful memories they both tried to bury.
As the sisters prepare to settle their mother's estate, long-hidden secrets surrounding the death of their younger brother Sam begin to surface. The story they were raised to believe is not the whole truth. Old notebooks, forgotten memories, and revelations from the past force Lena and Meg to confront guilt, grief, and the choices they made as children.
But uncovering the truth does not bring an easy resolution. Instead, it forces two sisters to finally speak honestly about the twenty-five years they lost to silence.
Set against a haunting coastal landscape of cliffs, storms, tides, and an aging family home, The Last Summer at Cliffside is an emotional story of sisters, secrets, grief, forgiveness, and the possibility of finding your way home.
