Rod Miller is the winner of Western Writers of America Spur Awards for Short Fiction and Poetry, the Westerners International Award for Poetry, and the Academy of Western Artists Award for Best Poetry Book. He is the author of five novels, three poetry books, and three other books of history, and he writes for magazines.
