Metaphor that even though notes and tones may be different in pitch, deep or high, they come together to form harmony. Comparing this idea to how when there is good, there is always bad, and vice versa. However, this is what creates harmony. Without good or without bad, the opposite wouldn’t exist as one only knows what goodness is when there is badness. Thus, where there is evil, there is good and nothing can never exist without both.
Paradox that highlights how even though the sage isn’t doing anything he is able to manage affairs and convey instructions. As letting things happen without interference prevents interruption of its natural flow. Though it may stop at the intended stage, the rest of the cycle of events are blocked. This causes a chain event that affects more processes than expected. In addition, the sage doesn’t use speech or force to instruct, rather he himself conveys it through his actions, inspiring others to learn from him with understanding, in comparison to robotic mimicking.
Personification of the “things” that will spring up, gives the idea that we have no control over it rather it has control over itself, and yet chooses to occur no matter what. Giving it a persistent description that will keep occurring and persevere in the future. Everything will eventually occur.
