Now, fifteen years later, Claudia returns to the coast in search of her missing brother and to confront long-buried secrets.

Her journey becomes intertwined with CQ, a mysterious figure from her past, and she becomes entangled in a decades-long web of lies and betrayal. With a nor'easter on the horizon, Claudia faces danger at every turn and must fight to uncover the truth as she grapples with redemption and hope for a better future.

When she's not writing, Susan enjoys yoga, morning walks with her dog, Jazzy, and exploring the beaches of the Outer Banks, looking for signs of porpoises, wild horses, and unique seashells.
