BYOT Now is a guidebook that forces the educator of yesterday to consider becoming relevant with his or her instruction today. Educators are having to reach students in different ways to bridge the gap between what they do at school, and what they do outside of school. BYOT bridges that gap, and this guidebook helps educators understand the process to implementing it in their classroom or school.

Think of ways you and your family use devices at home or on the weekend. One older teacher in our building got one and uses it as a remote control (and was so excited when she figured that out!). I am sure you are thinking "ok, what does that have to do with my classroom?" Don't think in literal terms, think in concepts and generalities....how can you use your device as a tool in the classroom, the same way you use it as a tool at home?:
