I used DK weight yarn and a 4.0mm hook. The purse measures approximately 4″/10cm wide by 3.5″/9cm tall. You will need three colours, I used Brown, Grey and Cream, the colours can be carried up the inside quite neatly without having to keep cutting and joining, the only exception is the flap. Although I finished mine with a button, you can also use poppers, or even velcro.
