«A'ee», as her familiars call her, is raised like any other girl in a very distant future 4.5 million millennials from now, in an era where man and machine fused into one being, and an end-time religion known as 'The Order of Bliss' rules the only continent of Earth—Pangaea-Ultima. A'i upholds the values of the Bliss and seeks love and attention like other young ladies, until her familiar, Madu is eventually killed by the brutal vigilante forces of the Bliss for causing panic through his broadcast:
'Suppose today is the day the sun dies,
how far can you run? Perhaps you'll wait for the glory which no man has seen.'
A'i and the rest of her familiars flee Pangaea for their lives. To survive the space colony and the ultimate demise of the sun in a supernova, she infuses a mental chip of a humanoid into her head to gain vast knowledge of the colony and how to navigate to Ganymede and the Dyson Sphere on the young star Jovia where a beautiful habitat in the image of the primordial Earth is evolving.
Pain, loss, and the accidental role of leadership forces A'i to discover her inert ability to travel back in time through the Metanet to the days of the internet to right the wrongs that lead to the formation of The Order of Bliss and stop the total annihilation of mankind beyond the days of the solar system.
While clocking from one era to another via the Metanet, A'i eventually travelled to a future date 465AS (After Sun) ahead of her time, to meet a community with humans and strange-looking creatures living in harmony and engage in some verbal communication.
